Quinton de Kock's 'personal' comment on David Warner has Australia fuming

David Warner caught by CCTV in off-field row during first Test in South Africa

The video of the incident shows Warner gesturing and talking to his opponent in the stairwell before the Australian vice-captain is held back and eventually dragged into the dressing room away from de Kock. Another former South African captain, Kepler Wessels, who has also played for Australia, too brought up the issue on air.

"CA (Cricket Australia) is aware of reports of an incident between players in Durban", a CA spokesperson said.

South Africa were 293 for nine at the close of the fourth day, still, 123 runs adrift of Australia.

Smith acknowledged his players were "certainly very chirpy on the field". Those things are not on; you can't be getting into someone's personal life like that.

They really mentored me in a way that really made a difference in my life". Janney was distraught about not being able to have met her subject.

But he said that as far as he aware his players had not got personal with De Kock. The tactic was pushed so far that the Nagpur pitch, which produced an Indian victory inside three days, was subsequently rated "poor" by the ICC. If you are saying something you've got to take it and that's the opinion of Quinton.

The Proteas claim Warner was also directing personal verbals at de Kock, although that has been sternly disputed by Smith. The match referee has spoken to us after the day's play. I think Davey's got to find somewhere in between that. Graeme Smith, former South African captain, called Warner a "fool".

Meanwhile, Australian off-spinner Lyon was charged with conduct contrary to the spirit of the game after he dropped the ball next to AB de Villiers after completing a runout of South Africa's star batsman, an incident captured on television.

De Villiers made a despairing dive but was well short and Lyon leapt over him in celebration, dropping the ball on his opponent before joining his teammates in a jig of joy.

Amazon escalates feud with Google, stops sales of Nest products
Smart home product sales are expected to reach $4.5 billion in 2018, according to the Consumer Technology Association. Also, the older Nest models will reportedly disappear after current inventories sell out.

The Australians wrapped up a 118-run win in Durban last night, after Quinton de Kock was dismissed LBW for 83. When de Villiers was run out after a mix up with Aiden Markram, Warner and Nathan Lyon were involved in a controversy over their reactions to the dismissal.

De Villiers' post came in response to a Tweet directed at Proteas quicks Morne Morkel and Kagiso Rabada, which included the CCTV footage, suggesting it was "time for a bit of chin music". They're just like, well he's quite personal so we're going to come back at him and see how he takes it.

The ill feeling is set to continue when the second Test starts in Port Elizabeth on Friday. Understandably so, because the cricket fraternity has witnessed what has happened when things get out of hand and the heated exchange goes beyond words and extends to brawls and punches, as seen in the recent case of Ben Stokes and Warner himself when he punched Joe Root.

Umpire Kumar Dharmasena is metres behind Warner and De Kock as they start their argument, and both on-field umpires follow the pair hurriedly as they head up the stairs to the dressing-rooms.
